Gaya Belajar

SNOW WHITE

Once upon a time there was a queen who gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She was the most beautiful baby anyone had ever seen. Her hair was shiny black, her skin was glowing white, and her lips were cherry red.
“Her skin is as white as snow,” said the Queen. “I shall call her Snow White.”
Not long after the Queen had given birth to Snow White, she felt ill and died.
A few years later, the King met a beautiful woman and felt in love with her. He told Snow White, “You’re going to have a mother!”
Not long after, the King married the woman. She married the King because she wanted to be a queen. She did not love the King at all. The queen had a magic mirror in her room. But the King did not know that it was a magic mirror.
Every morning, the Queen stood up in front of her mirror and said, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful of all?”
“Who else but you, you’re Majesty. You look more and more beautiful each day.” Replied the queen
“Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!” the Queen would laugh and walk away.
Many years later, the King died. Snow White had grown up to be a beautiful young lady. The Queen was jealous of Snow White’s beauty.
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful of all?” asked the queen. This time, the mirror kept quiet. “Tell me!” shouted the Queen.
“It’s Snow White, Your Majesty,” said the mirror.
The Queen was very angry. She wanted to kill Snow White. The Queen said to bodyguard, “John, I want you to kill Snow White tomorrow morning.”
The next morning, John took Snow White to the forest. There, he told Snow White of the Queen’s wicked plan. He also told her that he and everyone else loved her very much.
“Run,” he said, “and never returns to the castle again.”
Snow White ran as fast as she could. Soon, she came to a small house. She knocked at the door “Hello, hello any body home?” a little man opened the door. He was a dwarf. He was very happy to see Snow White.
Meanwhile, John returned to the castle and told the Queen that he had killed Snow White. “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most beautiful of all?”
“It’s Snow White, Your Majesty,” said the mirror. The Queen was furious.
“I must kill Snow White,” she said. “Where is she?”
“She lives in the forest with seven dwarfs, Your Majesty,” replied the mirror.
The Queen prepared a poisoned apple and turned herself into an old woman. Then, she went to look for Snow White in the forest.
When see saw the dwarfs’ house, she knocked at the door. Snow White opened the door.
“Young lady would you like to buy some apples?” asked the old woman. “Here, try this one.”
The apple looked delicious. Snow White took a bite. At once, Snow White fell to the ground. She was dead. The old woman laughed loudly and returned to the castle.
The dwarfs returned home and saw Snow White lying on the ground. Meanwhile, a prince who was hunting heard the draws’ crying. He saw Snow White. She looked very beautiful and the prince kissed her on the forehead. Snow White opened her eyes and smiled at the handsome prince. “Thank you”
Snow White soon fell in love with the prince and married him. They lived happily in the prince’s castle, far, far from the wicked queen.
